Family Portraits in Turkey Hill

I got an email from a lovely family for my Porch Portrait project, and they happen to live in a beautiful part of Arlington that I happen to be very familiar with! When I’m dog walking, I usually come up to Turkey Hill several times a week to walk a super bouncy dog named Sophie, and I discovered this hidden gem right by the iconic teal water tower. There’s a small nature reserve with a great view of Arlington. The family asked that I not use their names, and I always do my best to respect my clients’ preferences. The kiddos were definitely keen to explore the woods, and it took a bit, but they had fun being photographed! The 4 year old enjoyed the jumping photos, and the little one just wanted to play with leaves. It was wonderful exploring this beautiful place on a fresh spring day at the top of the hill!

This shoot is part of my Porch Portrait Project, I’m offering photo sessions from a safe distance for families and individuals and donating part of what I make to my local mutual aid group. It’s been a wonderful experience so far! It’s a sliding scale $65-$100, which includes the cost of editing. Contact me for details! Enjoy another of my porch portrait posts Here.
