Marina’s Senior Portraits
I was thrilled when Marina’s mom got in touch to do a senior portrait session! I taught Marina’s Sunday school classes when she was in Kindergarten at our Unitarian church, and it was so nice to reconnect. She’s a really lovely and inspiring person. She’s also got an interest in photography, and regularly does shoots with a friend, so I was excited to give her some tips and learn about what she’s been working on! She’s off to a great start, and I hope she keeps experimenting and having photo adventures!
It was really inspiring to talk with Marina about what her goals are. She’s very open about her struggles with mental health, which is something I also really value. She’s also interested in studying to help kids in the foster system. We need more good-hearted people like her!
