Cecelia and Summer’s City Hall Wedding

The world can be a scary place, and love is what strengthens and connects us. Cecelia and Summer decided to celebrate their love by getting married! They had a romantic elopement at Boston City Hall. There was so much joy in the room, they were both glowing! It almost blinded my camera.

They met in Boston and we retraced some of the steps of their first date. They live long distance and met up in Boston to get married. We frolicked around Faneuil Hall, and they stole kisses in the doorways. After dancing in the cold in front of the 30 ft Christmas tree, we took some classic Boston shots by the Old North Church. Once it got too cold, we went in the gorgeous Omni Parker House Hotel. It’s like walking into a painting! Cecelia and Summer had a little impromptu first dance in the lobby, everyone there was so sweet and congratulated them. While taking some shots in some tall chairs, we met a woman who had worked on the original campaign for gay marriage! It’s so amazing to see the progress we make for each other over time.

Cecelia and Summer have such a sense of fun, we played around taking photos in the bar which was full of Boston history. One second they were like kids in a playground, the next they looked like Bond villains. Their love is so powerful, and I wish them many, many happy years!
