While I was in Baltimore, I got to spend the day at the National Aquarium. It was fantastic! I brought my camera with my 50mm lens, which was great for getting detailed, crisp shots of the textures at the aquarium. In the entrance, they had big, blue tubes filled with bubbles. I spent 20 minutes playing around there, trying different depths of field to get some wacky, abstract effects. There were some cool spaces there, like an escalator surrounded in mirrors, and a huge room with windows. I was admiring the view, and it took me several whole minutes before I realized there was a submarine in front of me! There was so much to look at in the harbor, I almost missed it. If you’re ever in Baltimore, I highly recommend visiting the harbor.
